I saw the movie before an interview with Brewer and I stand by what I said, "I'll tell you something that you can not believe, but I swear it's the truth: the remake of Footloose is quite large. Brewer took the original story , made some changes, added to his unique style, and the end result is something that the public will love. "Look at the clips after the jump and look for our interviews with the players next week. Footloose opens October 14.

Writer / director Craig Brewer ("Hustle & Flow," "Black Snake Moan") offers a new take-loved classic 1984 film, "Footloose." Ren MacCormack (played by newcomer Kenny Wormald) was moved from Boston to Bomonti small southern town where you feel a strong dose of culture shock. A few years before, had been shaken by the tragic accident that killed five young men after a night out and Bomonti local councilors, and the beloved Reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid), has responded by implementing ordinances that prohibit loud music and dances. Not one to bend the status quo, Ren challenges to the ban, and to revitalize the city has fallen in love with the troubled daughter of the minister, Ariel (Julianne Hough) process.
